Summer Crafts for Kids
Wednesday, July 18, 2007Filed Under Crafts, Kids, Paper Crafts, Summer crafts |
My friend Aurelia Williams over at Real Life Solutions has a great page with some quick and easy Summer Craft ideas.
One of her ideas is making graph paper drawings. I love doing this! The kids take a sheet of graph paper and a pen, pencil or markers. They draw a picture on the graph paper using only the lines on the graph paper. No curved lines allowed. I can picture my youngest daughter Jillian sitting under a tree on a sunny day, graph paper in hand, coming up with all kinds of creations!
If you don’t have access to graph paper, you can make and download your own by going to Graph Paper Maker.
Let their imaginations run wild!

Hi Bev, I put a link on my latest blog entry to your site. My blog is fredbellpaintings.blogspot.com
Take a look and let me know if there is any problem with it.
Thanks!

Hello, um…i’m really just a babysitter in Alberta. I have no resources at all at the moment. Our oven doesn’t work, we have no glue or fun foam or anything else you sort of need to make the crafts labeled “Fun and easy! No need to leave the house!” We live twenty minutes out of town and i only have my gdl license so i can’t drive. If anyone has any easy crafts for a two-year-old wo doesn’t talk yet, something that will keep him occupied for a little while, that would be great. I have no intention on leaving the two-ear-old in question alone with a craft, its just that none of the crafts i come up with are fun enough. Both my website and e-mail are down for the next little while, so if you could just post your ideas up here that would be terrrific! Thank-you so much, and the kidlet thanks you too!
I bought bowling pin craft kit for kids at only $15 from ShindigZ store…..!
