Wonder Wallet
Saturday, January 12, 2008Filed Under Sewing |
I whipped this wallet up tonight for Jillian. She picked out the music notes and instruments material last weekend at Jo-Ann Fabrics because she’s a band geek
The pattern is from Lazy Girl Designs and was very easy to follow. You can make two wallets with one fat quarter. I used two fat quarters of two different materials to make the contrast between the pockets. You can see the Walmart card in one pocket and a quarter sticking out of the change pocket.

I plan to make quite a few of these and give them to friends. Becca wants one out of the same material since she loves black and white so much! I’m going to make one for myself to match the purse I made last weekend. I still have to post pictures of it…. I’ll try to do that tomorrow.
Next I plan to work on the curtains for Becca’s room. She picked out the material a while ago and we haven’t gotten around to making them yet… they’re zebra stripes and will match her black and white comforter. Should be interesting, but she’s excited about it! lol!

Hi Bev,
Your Wonder Wallet turned out beautifully! I really like the fabrics and love the way you alternated them for the pockets.
Great job!
